Visual artist based in Vienna. Her work moves between drawing, object constellation, digital graphics, video / animation and shows various materialities / immaterialities that undergo transformations in order to expose certain relations and identities. The interest focuses on existential questions in connection with the female body, abjection and mental conditions and its significance in a wider political and social context. The biological body as fragile entity and the role of sentience in a constantly dying ecosystem are also set in discourse. Her diploma thesis ‘Touched’, submitted to the University Mozarteum in 2012, examines artistic works in terms of physical touch and emotional impact on the viewer. In 2017 she was honoured with a Talent Promotion Award from the State of Upper Austria for interdisciplinary art forms. She is founding member of the artist collective sy:rup and since 2017 she is joining Salon Hybrid as studio manager, performer, researcher and art director assistant.
